The Washington Investment Group, Inc. was formed by Dr. Christopher and Donyata S. Washington. A loving African-American couple that believes in investing in the lives of others. Upon seeing the great needs of the community the couple started with purchasing real estate, in order to provide quality rental housing for the Norfolk community. In 2005 Dr. Christopher Washington started researching the stock market in order to pass on his knowledge to others.  In 2006 Mrs. Washington was approached to help with the needs of feeding kids in the summertime. She quickly investigated the problem and saw that the need was GREAT. Therefore, she applied for a reimbureseable grant through the USDA that would aide in providing a solution to ending childhood hunger, during the summer months in Virginia.  
   
 
The Washington Investment Group, Inc. is located in Norfolk, Va. and was started in 2004.
 
Virginia Kids Eat Free, Inc. was formed April 2008  and has a 501 (c) (3) classification from the IRS and your donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
